Marguerite Miller, PhD

Vice President, Executive Director &

Human Resources Manager

  • More than 19 years experience in office and facilities management.

  • Licensed Notary Public with over 19 years administrative experience in the specialized legal fields.

  • Recipient of numerous certifications, honors and awards.

  • Chief Administrator and 24 year member of the COFTM Board of Directors.

George W. Thigpen, III

Chief Operating Officer

  • Responsible for the development, expansion, assessment and evaluation of the office and its operations, programs and initiatives. This work has provided him the opportunity to utilize his valued communication, management and analytical skills that his education and experience has cultivated.

  • Has expertise in event planning and management, grant writing, program leadership and staff development, strategic planning, team building, community organization and public relations.

  • An Executive Chef by trade, Mr. Thigpen has extensive knowledge and experience working as a Director of Dining and Nutrition for various nursing homes within the healthcare industry.

  • The CEO/Founder of MAPA, Inc. Virginia Chapter, a faith-based nonprofit organization chapter which is headquartered in Muncie, IN and operates in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia region which emphasizes the use of community partnership to help with community reentry for those exiting prison and substance abuse environments.

  • The Executive Director of the Virginia School of Ministry where he is responsible for the administrative operations, creation and control of biblical-based curriculum while overseeing all fiscal, discipline and marketing strategies.

  • Became Chief of Staff for a City Councilman and eventually became a Community Liaison for the Mayor of the City of Detroit.

  • Ordained as a Pastor under Deliverance Temple Ministries headquartered in Muncie, Indiana in 2007.

  • Currently a consecrated Bishop with World Harvest United Churches, Inc. and was elevated to the Office of Adjutant to the Presiding Bishop in 2012.

  • Recipient of outstanding performance evaluations through the recognition of merit and acknowledgement of the delivery of exceptional customer service.

  • Created and established an Employee Incentive Program to increase moral and productivity throughout the company.

  • Received numerous awards for outstanding management support.

  • Attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

  • Attended the Staff Noncommissioned Officers Degree Completion Program at Albany State University in

     Albany, Georgia.

  • Graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts from the U.S. Military Institute upon release from the U.S Marine Corps in Washington, D.C.
